Best Headed to Injured Reserve

     Jahvid Best, who has missed 5 straight games since suffering a concussion in week 6 against San Francisco, was place on season ending IR today.  With Kevin Smith going down in yesterdays game and Detroit not knowing his status for next week, it seems as though they will need to make a roster move at running back to ensure they have extra depth.  Best, who has a history of concussions (at least three in the last three years) was having a good sophomore season, rushing for 390 yards and 2 TDs and making 27 catches for 287 yards and a TD in 6 games.  If Smith can't go next week, look for Maurice Morris to get the start.  Detroit, who started the season looking unbeatable, suddenly are looking very flawed.
